The weather looks bad for me to go. if I did go Sunday would be the better day to go.
-
I am looking to hit moclips tomorrow good tide but def plan on staying out of the surf if possible. Rogue waves and trees coming out of rivers not worth being in the water stay high and dry ash hopefully pull a limit. Anyone else going to brave it out?
-
It’s ugly in Ocean Shores now. Raining hard a the wind is howling.
-
Planning on Sunday tide. Winds are supposed to be ese at 10-20 and rain. Should be a good time.
-
I seen a bunch more dates posted between now and March 1st. I’m looking at headed to Ocean Shores for the first week of April, hoping they roll one out the same time. Any ideas when they would post March/April?

Middle/ late Feb probably..
You can assume digs will be scheduled end Mar early April because of the low tides..with final dates set a week out after toxin testing.

Surf was way down, hardly anyone on the beach, and nice fat clams tonight at Grayland. Only complaint was very hard sand and the clams were deep.
-
Amazing weather at the beach the last few days. The ocean looked like a lake.
-
Is it just me, or has the Twin Harbors beach been on the decline the last few years in regards to numbers of clams?

We had a terrible dig out at Pacific Beach a couple weeks back too. I've dug a lot of razor clams in my life and that was the first time I can remember walking off the beach without a limit. We did get out there a little late and the kids were cold and wet so we called it but still, never seen it like that.

:yeah:
-
Only dig at Grayland and it seems to be just as good as always.
-
I have only came off the beach without a limit once. that was due to heavy rain and winds washing away the shows as soon as they started. In those conditions you need to clam the surf where you can see the necks.
-
We got our clams easily Friday and Saturday but no luck with the perch or crab.
-
Daytime dig this weekend but going to wet with + tides. Not ideal but will probably give it a go. Good luck.
-
Too windy for me this weekend. Wanted to go for bottomfish.

No thanks it's gonna be a Cal Raleigh :chuckle:
