Title: Clamming this weekend

Rogue waves and trees coming out of rivers not worth being in the water stay high and dry ash hopefully pull a limit. Anyone else going to brave it out?

Post by: TeacherMan on January 28, 2025, 08:26:13 PM: I seen a bunch more dates posted between now and March 1st. I’m looking at headed to Ocean Shores for the first week of April, hoping they roll one out the same time. Any ideas when they would post March/April?

Middle/ late Feb probably..
You can assume digs will be scheduled end Mar early April because of the low tides..with final dates set a week out after toxin testing.

We had a terrible dig out at Pacific Beach a couple weeks back too. I've dug a lot of razor clams in my life and that was the first time I can remember walking off the beach without a limit. We did get out there a little late and the kids were cold and wet so we called it but still, never seen it like that.

Post by: dilleytech on January 31, 2025, 11:31:44 AM: I have only came off the beach without a limit once. that was due to heavy rain and winds washing away the shows as soon as they started. In those conditions you need to clam the surf where you can see the necks.
