I need a new string installed on my Mathews Z7. Used to go up to the bow shop in Enumclaw but he is no longer there. Always did a great job for me. Is there anyone good in Western Washington

My kid just got his replaced at bass pro. He had to order a string and take it to them though. Ordered from 60x customs. Showed up a couple days later, took there and he’s back to flinging arrows in the backyard.

O'Connell Archery in Shelton. Small shop but very very good and they are a Matthew's dealer. They have my bow right now putting all new gear on it.

I use Drop Tine bowstrings through O'Connel Archery. Small/Great shop.

:yeah:
I recently had Lucky Shot Archery replace mine and it was worth the drive down for me. I went with the GAS Ghost on my PSE.

Archery World is top notch. Been doing business with them for about 30 years and they take great care of me. There's one in Lacey.

Doug at GNWArchery on the south hill of Puyallup and help you with that.

Give me a shout at www.coastalcustombowstrings.com. I can build them and install them for you.

I live close to Lucky Shot in Chehalis. Needed a new string put on recently, but they charge a bunch- I wanna say around $100 just to replace string. Had it done at Cabelas for way less. They did fine work.

Was the Enumclaw shop Rock creek? He moved to Seattle near Southcenter.

X2 for Wade at Brightstrings in Spanaway. Top notch string maker and bow tuner.

In my opinion, it depends on how much you shoot and how precise you want to be. I shoot nine 3D shoots a year and thousands of arrows per year. You couldn't pay me to have Cabelas put a string on my bow. Those are average people not bow technicians. I've also ran 60X strings before and they were great for the first 1,000 shots. After that, the string stretched like crazy and made a significant POI change.
I would suggest Gas strings, installed by a quality archery shop like Lucky Shot.
