One from yesterday
Nice one!

Been looking .....
-
PathfinderJR just sent me this. Can't really say where he is or what he's doing, but he spotted a shed while training last week and when they gave him a day off he hiked out and got it.
-
My brother found a decent set on the hill behind his house when he left for work. One was found Tuesday and the other side was found yesterday.
-
2 old, and a new set
-
Found another.
-
Blacktail, big two.

From the looks of Jr. you got some good help for packing out game when you need it! Dad can carry the rifle.
-
Dogs have been itching to get out, they just got a fat 4 with some trash.
-
That's a cool one Teacherman!

In theory, you're right. In real life though he's been "unavailable" for the last three years. I think we'll get him back in about a year though... ;)
-
Nice shed teacherman. Good one Jerry.
-
Wife found a set today.
-
Found the other side to the forky I found a couple days ago.
-
Found a solid blacktail today, a few years too late. A big set of fresh blacktail sheds is high on my bucket list.
-
Finding blacktail sheds always amazes me. It’s almost always so thick

It is, i go weeks or even months without anything. Where I am at right now is a pretty small area, and i would say 75% of my blacktail sheds have come out of it. The big problem with a day like today is it's dark under the canopy, and the fresh ones are so dark they blend in. A lot of times it's just the pedicle that catches my eye.
-
Well nothing fresh today but I do think I found the same side from the same deer, just ~2 yrs older :dunno:

Wow dude that’s pretty awesome. I’ve found 1 black tail shed and I thought it was rib bone when I kicked it. Those are good finds!
-
My dogs have been on fire 🤙🏼 3rd one in 2 days within a mile of my house.
-
WOW! Teacherman that is a gorgeous shed. I’d love to see that buck. Congratulations

I had three bucks I watched over the Summer/Fall that were 150 plus, he is definitely one of them. I'm really hoping my pups find the match for this one.

:yeah:
That's an awesome buck! Love the gnarly burrs on the bases!
-
Dandy!
-
Very nice
Dogs make it much easier

Finally found my first blacktail sheds. First find was a nice fork set. Found a cool 3 point the next weekend. Have only found one fresh brown two point shed so far, but in two times out in the same area I’ve come up with 7 sheds total.
-
Better take those gps coordinates to the grave with you. Lol
-
Snow at my cabin and this one was just laying by the driveway.

You could’ve gotten a flat tire on the cat.

Awesome, what elevation you working around? Not trying to ask to much, just saw the snow in the pic so I assumed it was higher elevation.

All were found between 800’-900’. It was right after that lowland snow. I went out yesterday to the same area and couldn’t turn up a single shed. I spent half the day trying to find the match to the 3-point but no luck. Lot harder to see them with no snow. Or I just already found the “easy” ones in that area.
-
On Thursday I had a two point mule deer still packing his passenger side.

The WT I've had on winter cams ,lost antlers by February.
That buck pic I posted in ,did your big buck survive the season.
I looked all over for a hour or so,no luck.
-
I saw a forked horn and a 4 point mule both still packing a few days ago
-
Saw 8 or 10 bucks packing 1 or both sides last Thursday on a hike. But I would say the majority are all dropped.

Last years shed but I’m counting it!
-
My brother has found 3 nice ones on his place so far. One set that's a decent 3 point!
-
Nice find
-
This unit is notorious for weak thirds. Not this one. Cool G1 & G2. Give him 2 or 3 more years
did you have a good hike by yourself? It’ll probably be your last.
-
Nice one. No secrets disclosed here. I have seen quite a few trucks parked at local spots the last few weekends so I’m sure he wasn’t out there alone.
-
Posted in the 2024 thread by accident yesterday - don't want to relive that year so better post here!
Put a few miles in trying to break in the new boots and found a few. Nothing big but its a start.

I've found a handful between 5,000-6,000.
-
Spike blacktail deer at 6k, did not expect that!
-
Here is a shed I’m selling on the classifieds for 2k..….😁
-
Look again, two little WT packing singles this morning
-
Definitely the most conveniently placed shed I’ve found
-
Nice
-
Looked like there was quite a few campers in the parking lot at the Oak Creek feed station when I passed by last night. Hopefully all those that brave the crowd were rewarded for their efforts.
-
Mom finally found her first shed. Gave up looking after trying for a year with no luck for her, the "guys" in the family kept finding them first but kept hiking around and basically stepped on the thing. Pretty funny how stoked she was.

That's a good one.

Found a few this year. Mostly old ones, couple nice ones. The two chocolate elk sheds were on the east side and the rest were west side sheds I found at work. The deadhead was at the bottom of a draw in a chest high fern patch.
