So how many of you really pay attention to the patterning of a Mule deer's head fur?
It's quite fascinating all the differences, wonder if there's ever been studies on this. Guessing it's almost like a fingerprint to deer. :dunno:

That’s what I’m talking about bone, I just didn’t know what to call it so I thought Deer toupee was funny.
So many variations, it made me think of your buck Groucho
I wonder how much these colorations play into interactions in the herds
