So, I just ordered some stuff off Amazon.
I was trying to buy a holster, but Amazon won't ship them?
I tried several vendors, and the same message telling me they can't ship to my address popped up.
i could buy all the non-gun-related stuff in my cart.
Is that new?
-
Yeah. That’s weird only pistol holsters. I looked at slings, bipods and other accessories even pistol sights. Doesn’t make sense to me
-
Amazons logo is not a smile, but a p***s, so we always get the shaft.
-
I ran into the same issue with algae killer for my pond a few years ago. I found some other vendors from another state and they have no problem shipping it. I also found one in Washington that has no problem shipping it. Amazon just makes blanket rules for items and often it applies to items that are not actually regulated but the computer algorithm doesn’t know the difference.
-
Was it actually Amazon stocked or was it a vendor?.. there are a few firearms related companies that has decide to completely stop selling to Washington rather than try to decipher the laws.
-
I just tried to order a holster and had no issues, but I don’t actually want to order a holster so I stopped at the payment method screen.

Typically they will have red writing stating they cannot ship it to your address while you are viewing an item. Must be something different about the holster you were viewing than the one the op was trying to buy.

That’s what I thought too. I don’t see that warning on any of them.
Maybe Bezos just doesn’t like Dan.
I did actually buy a couple holsters from Amazon a couple months ago without issue.
-
Did you try different vendors on their own web site? I was able to order a pistol from palmetto just a few days ago, shipped to an FFL
-
I tried ordering things...holster, magazine (6rd) and the little plastic clip for grip on the magazine. All wouldn't ship, even individually and separate vendor combinations.
-
Went in an actually bought two holsters- no problems said would receive the 5th. Went back in and canceled as I was only curious. Maybe just certain zip codes?
-
It isn't Amazon it it sellers...
-
Amazon wont ship Apivar to Washington, even though Mann lake and Dadant both gladly ship it, and they are the vendors on Amazon.
I just order from the source.
Apivar is a bee treatment for mites.
Ive never been able to understand Amazon’s rules.
-
Out of curiosity along with, just broke my old one, I just ordered a new AR15 Vise Block and says it will be delivered tomorrow... from Amazon, not a vendor.
-
It isn't Amazon it it sellers...
Yup!!!
-
Looks like this is spreading. Just tried to order some ammo from Palmetto State Armory and they will no longer ship to Washington.
"We apologize, an item in your cart is not permitted to ship to your location."
The ammo was the only "item" in my cart.

Weird.
I ordered ammo from them last week.

Thanks all.
Yes, it appears to be vendor dependent.

Last year I tried to order a Crossman air gun (pistol) from Amazon, but they wouldn't ship to my address in Seattle. I tried entering my brother's address in Port Townsend and they had no problem shipping it there, so that's what I did.
-
I got shut down also trying to buy firearm related stuff last month. But speedloaders for revolvers were fine.
I'm thinking some leftist lame brain is coding what is prohibited.

Literally it’s the vendors selling through Amazon that won’t ship to WA. Vendors aka gun shops who won’t take risks shipping to WA.

Not so.. in my case. Went directly to the company and bought it. No problem.
Did it twice. Never had this happen 6 months ago. Thinking this is a new Amazon policy???

Cant buy that one.
Dunno. Who knows what it is. Definitely seems to be by vendor.
-
Can't on the Amazon website even though it is filled by Outlaw Holsters but can on their Outlaw Holsters website not using Amazon.
Definitely Amazon's policy not the vendors policy.
-
It's weird.
I tried a bunch of Amazon vendors and got rejected.
Jackelope sent me a different vendor on Amazon...... I got my holsters today.
-
I ordered a piece of abs plastic (kydex) that is commonly used to make holsters. It came with a sheet of warnings and firearm safety propaganda. Sheet of plastic !

Good grief. That is truly ridiculous.

Must be some sort of filter based on vendor? You can definitely buy holsters on Amazon and have them shipped to WA. Just not all of them.
-
I order one for my MP 10mm from upper hand no problem . great people
-
This is 100% vendor based... if it's amazon stocked, I have never had a problem
-
I ordered one 2 weeks ago and it arrived to my P.O. Box 5 days later. No issues but I have had this issue with other products.
Algaecide for the pond has been banded from amazon shipping to Washington for about 3 years.

Thanks Bob Ferguson!!! And everyone that voted for him....

Not trying to burst any bubbles here, but this has nothing to do with Ferguson. Read the past posts in this thread.
