Title: Kids first sheds
Post by: boneaddict on February 08, 2025, 08:13:23 AM: It’s kinda sad how shed hunting has evolved into what it is today. It was a fantastic time to get your kids into the outdoors. Now it seems like it’s filled with 20 something’s trying to make a buck. I don’t know. Lots of good memories. Let’s dedicate this thread to your kids first shed. . If they haven’t found one yet, then maybe a goal this year to get their success pic on here.

I’ll have to root around for some pics. My youngest daughter’s first solo shed.

Due to divorce, we didn’t get to spend near enough time together and when we did, it was often hard to get her away from her younger sisters. Post by: Rainier10 on February 23, 2025, 03:36:33 PM: Out shed hunting/going for a walk with the kids. Saw what I thought was a deer antler on the far hill. I wanted to hike straight to it but the kids wanted to go so we side hilled around. 1/4 of the way there we stumbled into this set of elk antlers. The deer shed ended up being a nice looking branch.
