Title: GOPRO’s, school me.
Post by: Hilltop123 on February 08, 2025, 03:54:46 PM
We are on the hunt for a GOPRO. For those who have them, what should we be looking for? And what should we avoid. After looking at the GOPRO site, there seems to be a big difference between models.  So does one need all the capabilities and features of the higher end camera? I suspect, much like my phone, I”ll only use 5-6 of the 200 available features. Do we also need editing software? Thanks in advance.

I have the 12 Black…I have no idea where it lies in their lineup. I’m simply a user. The quality of the film from that camera is quite impressive. I really didn’t know what to expect when I used it on my first hunt last year…shocked me how good it was.

My son picked it out and my wife bought it for me. My son edits all of my film. I believe he uses Adobe Lightroom. I just recently started messing around with some of the settings and there are some things I’m going to try this spring. Good luck!
