Title: Another buck to score! (score posted)
Post by: dvolmer on February 13, 2025, 01:29:36 PM: Some bucks are harder to score than others. Here is a buck I shot in Wyoming a few years back. Very narrow but very nice too. Now that winter is upon us and we are bored sitting at home, guess his gross typical score. This one is harder to judge than some in my opinion. In a few days I’ll let you know.

He got all of his inches in super deep forks and decent mass. He was an old buck and his body was just about the size of a spike elk. One of the biggest bodied bucks I have ever killed. When I saw him he was bedded in some oak-brush and all I could see was his fork depth. I shot him in his bed at 75 yards. I have no regrets. A lot of good guesses on here. Hard to score bucks with just pictures.
