I have a question regarding nonresident draw. I have 22 points sheep and moose, 19 q deer and 21 goat. I fled WA 3 years ago for a red state and have not applied since I left, reason being it’s $110 bucks a species to apply. I am wondering if there were any residents that would like to apply as a partner for special hunts so long as it works for both parties.

I'm good for 1 point on Q elk. They say the lower numbers have better odds. Be good for both of us maybe. :dunno: :chuckle:

To the OP.
In my sincerely humble opinion, I would encourage you to forget about your WA points. They have a negative value. Why? To apply as a non-resident is an exorbitant expense to you, and does not offer that great of hunting (you already know this). And, your point levels are actually not that great.
Sure, you could partner with somebody who has, for example, 10 points, and then average your points for a mid-quality hunt. But do you really want to spend hundreds of dollars for a mid-quality hunt in Washington?
I think your offer is very kind, and gentlemanly of you. But, I would suggest that you simply forget about the points.

I should’ve been more clear on the original post. This is not an altruistic endeavor what I am looking for is a potential partner application where their partner pays my application fee. I will buy my own license. I called licensing and they had no issues with me doing this

Basically.....have someone with less points, pay to increase their odds as they average your points. Hmmmmmm.....Interesting offer. If you archery hunt, this could be very valuable for some elk and deer units / draws. As for rifle and even muzzy.....the points are negligible, especially when averaged out with a lower point partner.
Curious if this works out for you.....May be a member that money is not an issue and takes you up on it. I personally would save my money and just hunt out of state. :dunno:

great idea, spend hundreds to increase odds .01%, where do i sign up. this would make sense in a preference point state, good luck here

I would not do it because with all of the points for various species that you accumulated for not being drawn you appear to be an unlucky person. Nothing personal but you appear to have bad juju with the WDFW drawings. Maybe you are lucky elsewhere. Some people are lucky, some are not. Why mess with the universe?

even at max points, the odds are still so horrible its not even worth forking that money over...
