This year I’m going to, after years of saying it, switch to mechanical broadheads. I think I’m going to get RAD’s 125gr Ti-Cons. Anyone shoot these? Any reason NOT to? I like that they’re made in Wa are aren’t $125 for a se.

The owner of RAD is a member here. I haven’t seen him on here in a while though.

I’ve shot some RAD broadheads before, they were great flyers and very sharp. Are you switching to fixed or to mechanical?

I thought Ti cons were fixed broadheads.

Ti cons are fixed. Dang good broad head.
-
Yeah my mistake. I shoot mechanicals, grim reapers. What I MEANT was, I’m switching to fixed.
I used the search method(only after I posted) and RAD certainly seems popular. But I have people that swear by OTHER fixed broadheads, Iron Wills, Slick Tricks or G5’s.

Ti Cons are one of the best fixed made IMO. Tough, fly great, sharp, with excellent penetration qualities.

Theyre all great heads. Will come down to who do you want to buy from and whats your preference in a broadhead.

@RadSav
His broadheads are super and his customer service is outstanding. You can't make a better choice for quality and performance, IMHO.

I bought 3 packs of 125gr Ti-Cons, excited to get my hands on these things and tear up a target… and hopefully meat in the freezer later in the year. :IBCOOL:

Didn’t read this till after the purchase. That’s ok though, glad my money is going to someone local.

Following. May have to follow suit and pick some up for this season as well. Have seen HW chatter before about RAD'sand its all been good from performance to their service.
-
They make nice holes in stuff for sure. Every bow kill I've had since 2013 has been with a ticon
-
I use the Titanium Delmastro 100. Love them

You won't be disappointed!!

I'm pretty partial to the TiCon myself. The Vandyke is another great option. The low profile solid blades are so dang quiet in flight.
-
You are going to get 50 different answers as to which ones to order. I'm partial to 100gr. I'm not chasing huge arrow weight or massive foc. I chose the Delmastro because I like the vented blade that gives me a bit more cutting width and still flies like a dart. Yhe Delmastro for me has killed everything. Deer, elk, Moose, bear. All at a total weight of 413gr. They will all work. Which one do you like the looks of?
