What are we after before heading in to or coming out of an elk area in each elk state? Well… a great burger IMHO! It’s that simple you wild bohemians, post up “your choice” of an epic burger joint in the elk state(s) you frequent. Here we go.

Nothing better than getting done with a hunt or a hike around Stanley and getting a Papa Brunee’s pizzai grabbed a pizza there once on my way home from a very unpleasant trip into the frank church. I dam near dropped the box when the lady handed it to me. Use two hands people! All meat means they literally use all the meat! Thing weighed 5lb :chuckle: I was very surprised it was a legit good pie.

Rams head cafe north fork salmon river salmon Idaho. The burger is the full curl. Wish o had a picture of the monster. 2 1 pound patties 1/4” thick bacon, dripping cheddar cheese. I can almost taste it :chuckle: Best burger I’ve ever had
Damn!!! We used to hunt that area every year and never even thought about checking out the local cuisine. Now I'm mad....and hungry.
