Synopsis: 8" reflex (4" in front of barrel, 4" over the barrel), titanium printed can with two ID options for thinner/thicker barrel profiles, threaded 5/8-24, sub 140db (think they're already hitting mid 130's hoping to get a little lower through prototyping) and a lot of focus on tone to eliminate the higher pitch "ting" in a lot of Ti cans. Designed and printed in Post Falls, ID.
Price point is going to be $999.

Any particular reason Karl? Haven't seen many "opposing" viewpoints (maybe the wrong phrasing there), so I'm interested in any drawbacks that I might not be considering. The only two I think I've seen are guys running thick profile carbon barrels and the potential for issues with removing a stuck can (which they've said they'll create a tool for).
I'm putting a 6 creed together next and like the idea of keeping a few extra inches of barrel length without sacrificing overall rifle length.
I think a tabletop review would be interesting, 4" of can that wraps the barrel is odd. Maybe they are using it for the blast chamber by diverting gas backwards along the barrel? I'd want to know how many baffles, is it a flow through design or tradition cones with clips, also looks to have a small distal end. Get that reviewed by Pew Science and Joey Longo and see where it stacks up.
Also, not much of an original name, 50% of the Form1 22 cans are probably named Whisper Pickle, I know I've got one.
The OTB design is popular in Europe, NZ, etc. The only American version I'm aware of is the AB Raptor w/ reflex. Difference here is it's not a separate module, the OTB portion is printed with the forward-of-the-barrel portion of the can.

It's a cool concept, personally I would wait for some data to come out and a year or two of actual field use by everyday people. The suppressor bandwagon has gotten out of control with all the new companies popping up, some I've seen are one step away from an Alibaba kit (not saying this company is that). I'm not flush enough to take a flyer on a new idea/concept, thus I've been sticking with companies I know or just tinkering with homemade designs and playing with progressive spacings and mixing cup designs.

multitude of things. First off, I'm a HUGE Unknown Munitions fan. I love that they innovate, I love that they have what I want in stock, and their customer service is top notch. Heck I drove 50 min out of my way Saturday to go there. Got some vihtavouri powders, tikka rings and levels, a new 6mm funnel, and 7prc brass for my 25-7prc project.Hard pass for me.

With that said, their track record for testing products hasn't been great. The hinged rings were a massive fail, a book could be written about the rokstock roll out, etc. I'm never gonna be the first to jump in on any of their new releases.
As for this suppressor. Their priority is and has been from the beginning been tone and length. My personal opinion on length is its way over sensationalized. NEVER ONCE has overall barrel length been a hindrance for ME. I don't want a can on a 26" barrel but a 20 or 22 with 6" of can just isn't a factor for ME on packability, balance, or handiness.
Of my 3 priorities for a suppressor, tone is last. Recoil reduction and suppression are higher priorities for ME. There's no free lunch with suppressors imo. You can only do so much with a certain overall volume on a can. Baffle designs play a role but at the end of the day, it's all volume based. Shoot a raptor 8 without reflex then screw on a raptor 4 or even 6 with a reflex and you're gonna pick the 8 every time imo.
Personally I hope this can lives up to the hype. Time will tell. Till it's thoroughly vetted I'll stick to my raptor 8's. They check all my boxes at the same price point. Hope that clarified my previous statement.
P.S. still waiting on my rokstock :chuckle:

They had a few at the La Grande NRL event, might be attending more of those with them.

I'm hoping to pick up a couple railed tikka stocks in the next drop...And optimistic that going with the sister company fabrication setup vs a 3rd party fabricator with Stocky's and no pre-order will help. Not familiar with the hinged ring product failure.I ordered a non railed during the Feb drop of 100. Cheaper to just add a rail and I figured since they said they had 60 ready to go I could get one quick. I'm thinking those 60 must have been a myth because I've yet to see anyone claim they've received one from that order. I'm fully expecting to be way underwhelmed by it but I needed a stock, and haven't shot a rokstock yet so needed to feed my own curiosity. Should have just ordered a McMillan mountain tracker LR as I think it's gonna be a better stock overall. The rem 700 one sure is awesome.

I think I've seen some reports of guys getting stocks from the Feb. drop. It's such a mess though, hard to keep track of. The trinity rail is too enticing as I prefer the Spartan over shooting off a pack and shoot off the tripod occasionally.

I think the only stocks shipping was that drop of actual in stock stocks they did a few weeks after the Feb order. That one really annoyed me as I'd have just waited and ordered one of those.

The last time a bunch of people hopped on the newest Ti can at that price point, I was asked about it and it appeared to some people that I'm not of fan of light weight suppressors. I am definitely a fan of Ti silencers but, I would never rush into a new suppressor that doesn't have extensive field experience with consumers. Let some people put a few ten round groups of hot 300WM through it and see if the welds hold.

I know they're doing destructive testing, can't remember the specifics. Knowing those guys it'll be right on the edge of ridiculous.
Not sure weld failure will be a concern on a 3D printed can but I'm not a machinist by any means.

And some info on distribution, "We will be using silencershop for transfers inside the Unknown Munitions shop, other than that we will be form 3 transferring to any dealer of your choosing and it is up to them how they want to do the form 4."

FYI - they did update the name from the Whisper Pickle to the OG after receiving a request from another manufacturer who had one by that name.
