Title: Summer Scouting
Post by: Kumacub on May 05, 2025, 11:29:03 AM
My girlfriend and I are going on year 3 of hunting. This year we are planning on camping and checking out the sinhelekin wildlife area and camping at the one of the lakes there just because we have never been there and it looks gorgeous. Is there a chance to see whitetails or muleys in that area? Is this area a heavily road hunted area? I see that as being likely due to the valley and the one road going through it... But just seeing if we can combine camping trips with scouting ways to hike up and get away to see wildlife or if this will just be a normal camping trip. Not asking for honey holes or anything. Just seeing if this is another Winthrop. Thank you again for everyone giving advice and info the past few years. Hopefully we'll have a story and pictures to post this year.

No matter which state you chose in the PNW, if there's motorized access allowed there will be an excessive number of road hunters.

Lol. There is way too much truth to that.
