The wife and i stopped at a new gas station that just opened up near us that was advertising Non Ethanol gas a week or so ago. Whilst looking to see which pumps we could get the Non ethanol i noticed, instead of the usual "gas may contain up to 10% ethanol" sign, it said 15%.
Huh, when did this become a thing? April 28th it turns out. https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/ahead-summer-driving-season-epa-allows-nationwide-year-round-e15 (https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/ahead-summer-driving-season-epa-allows-nationwide-year-round-e15)
So be careful. From what i have read any vehicle built before 2001 should not run it. Also of course, motorcycles, boat engines and small engines in general. If you are like me, you have been running non ethanol in those things for years.

Ethanol

That stuff is garbage. If you have a pre 01 vehicle like me. Change out to synthetic hoses and if your going to park it for any length of time fill up with ethanol free and or store with a full tank. You will get less condensation and water accumulation.

Thanks Sandberm. I’ll be paying more attention at the pump.
