Title: Price on brass?
Post by: Pete112288 on July 06, 2025, 12:03:55 PM
A friend asked me to help figure out asking prices for selling a bunch of reloading stuff. It belonged to a friend that passed and neither the friend's widow or my friend knows anything about reloading. Just want to get her a fair price. I know about the powders but there is a ton of brass and a crap ton of plastic 50 round pistol boxes. There is a ton of unfired .41 mag cases, everything is pistol stuff. There is also a ton of .40 s&w once fired, he had everything sorted and labeled for how many firings.
Tried searching the web, not sure about being able to get much for the brass. I will get a count on the brass and such later today. But I was curious on what once fired pistol brass really could go for? And all the plastic 50 round storage boxes...
Thanks

Retail is $35/100 new, $25/100 once fired so figure half that is fair price.   $20/100 new,  $10/100 used would be what I would price them at.

Boxes - New= $3.50 so Ten for $20 .

Not many pistol reloaders that don’t have this stuff.  Good luck.
