Let's me know what your thoughts are on it. Thanks!

Several years ago I bought 4 flats of #2's steel and had very good results. IMO much better than Econo Fed and Win loads. As I recall they are a Chettite hull and primer loaded in Mississippi

Cheap wine story- I needed something to put some loose items in. Found an empty Apex box by the trash can at the boat launch. 1 partner started off shootin real bad. Jokes were flying, birds not dying. Dumped the Apex box and put in a handful of Herters loads and told him to 'Step up to premium'. His sbooting improved a bit and became a believer in 'Apex' loads. Lucky I didn't slip in some boat flares. That gets em going

Thanks for the info Henry! I might have to give them a try. I became a big fan of BOSS but since they aren't making bismuth loads anymore I'm looking into other options :'( .
HAha! That's a great! I wonder if he started buying those premium shells after that experience!

Thanks. I really liked the BOSS loads in my 20ga. The price creep sucked then I realized that those loads weren't necessary for the shooting I've been doing.

I've been happy with Apex S3. Good customer service too, I had a case show up ransacked and mostly empty from the mail. They got me taken care of.

Boss shotshells seems disappointed how things are going. Hard to produce with lack of metal supply they might be claiming?
“Due to our growing discontent with foreign trade wars, tariffs, weak supply chains and lack of metal supply, Boss is discontinuing the sales of our once legendary Bismuth-based shotshells.
Unless something monumental develops between the USA and it's Asian trading partners (where 90% of the world's bismuth is mined), Bismuth will no longer be used in our ammunition.”

Boss was definitely a little more on the pricey side! Oh well, there's a lot more options out there.
That's awesome that they made it right. That would be very upsetting! I've been very interested in the TSS/S3 steel blend. What size shot blend are you using?
