Title: Knight discontinuing Ultralite muzzleloader

Looks like they're closing them out.  Big price reduction on remaining stock.

Is the Ridge Runner just an ultralight with a cheaper stock? Looks like the same barreled action but 1-1/2lbs heavier. Curious to the thought process behind some of these changes Knight has been making lately what direction they're trying to head

:yeah:, they are the best though. But not some super sale offload. I bought mine last year I believe it was a Black Friday sale? But it was 50% off so it was like $750

May still be overpriced, but it's an incredible muzzleloader. :dunno:

I know that Bell & Carlson makes the fiberglass stock for the Ultralite but won't sell to the open market. Knight won't sell them either.   Maybe that will change.

What makes a Knight better than CVA, aside from quality of build/components? But from an accuracy and ease of use standpoint point are they any better?

I had an early model CVA blow the breach out in my face with an 80 grain test fire load when I was 17... Ended up getting a settlement when I was 20 after a 3 surgeries on my face and having to get glasses... Bob Hickey was the owner then... There was a recall for a string of models in the 90's... My Dad and I don't buy anything CVA after that... Knight is a better product imho... All their products...

So if B&C makes the stock, Timmney makes the trigger, and Green Mountian makes the barrel, what does Knight make?

Thinking of getting one of these, is there anyone that sells an aftermarket stock for Knights that has a comb riser?
