I got a 10x6 deck trailer, figure I could fudge it to a 8x12 with some skill....
I've never built something like that, I mean, I'm pretty crafty with timber, the trailer has a wood deck, I could do it for basically pennies compared to buying a camper, it's just gonna be a solo camp trailer for me, I think a basic 12 volt system, either a marine style diesel cook stove or small wood stove for heat, maybe a water tank, basically just all stuff from boat parts, wondering if anybody's ever made a small mobile cabin/shack and if they have any advice for framing one that's gonna be on wheels going off road like fasteners and joinery and stuff...

Thought about building one on my 16'x8' flat bed then we just decided to keep it a flat bed and bought a new Jayco camp trailer.

Yeah I looked at a 22 foot cascade earlier today, but I already own the flattie and I got it on trade for some work from a buddy and it's just sat in the yard forever, I used it for haulin a mower before I got a truck (ford ranger), then got a f250 and sold the ranger and don't got a lawn no more, so, it's just a lawn ornamate at the moment.... my buddy hauled crab pots with it a few seasons and then also got a bigger rig, so, it's a good blank canvas

After seeing some of the builds on YT I’m kicking around the idea of some sort of pod for half of my 7x14 trailer. Something built like an aliner camper.
