Title: SE Louisiana Teal Hunt

Date Hunted 9/27/2025:

What a hunt!

A cool front passed through the state and based on what happened Saturday some fresh teal must have made it to SE Louisiana. Conditions for the hunt were not much wind and sunny day but the teal were there. Two boats went out to our lease four guys in one and three in the other. One of the guys in my boat is 81 years old and usually hunts with some other guys but came with us on the invite. They have not done well the last few years so was glad to try to put him on some teal as we have been doing well. The teal did not disappoint as many of them worked the decoys nicely for easy shots. We shot our 24 duck limit and the other boat shot their 18 duck limit.

Richard is pictured with the 24 teal around his neck and a happy man.

It took me a few days to put together the video of the hunt on YouTube.  I missed a lot of the action but have what I have.
