Title: Plugging bighorn sheep?
Post by: teanawayslayer on October 02, 2025, 01:51:12 PM: A friend of mine shot a ram yesterday and a biologist came over to his house today to inspect the ram and plug it. He placed the plug in the skull at the base of the horns. Isn’t the plug supposed to be in the horn? I guess that’s the only place I’ve ever seen them. It seemed odd where he put it.

Post by: Itsintheblood on October 02, 2025, 04:03:21 PM: My 2021 ram was plugged in the horn. I’m not sure if they changed their method but I was under the impression the horn is where it goes.
