Headed down to Puyallup to work for the day and saw a Whopper of a blacktail a couple of hundred yards North of the Stimson Rd. overpass on the west side of I-5. He was feeding in the underbrush. When he lifted his head I about went off the road. He was a real toad. Wide, Heavy and Tall. Maybe some of you locals cen keep an eye out for him!!!
-
Thats reservation land there.Better chase him to the otherside then shoot him.
-
I think Ive seen the one your talking about but Ive seen him at a different location miles away and am hoping to meet up with him on opening day with my bow :IBCOOL: as long as I can get permission from the land owner :dunno:
-
So you must be talking about the west side of the freeway. Thats not rez land if its north of 140th. I havent seen that guy yet. If I see him I'll get a pic.
-
Strutnrut1984 saw him the other day on his way to work and called me, said he was an absolute HOG!!
-
He was definately on the west side of I-5. I always wondered how far north the rez. land went. Didn't think it went that far.

-
my brother saw this guy about 2 weeks back...or one similar...not far from where this is described.
-
I saw one just west of hwy 9 off 252nd last year that was absolutely huge.
Yea, that is not rez land that far north. Fair game for bows. :IBCOOL:
-
a couple of years back I saw a toad in Berenger farms right along i5. looked like a muley.
-
Very cool! I guess I'll know what happened if I hear about someone running off the road in Arlington on I-5
-
Ever since old Mortons Tree farm turned into the strip mall eye sore over there (were Red Robin, etc are in smokey joint), no wonder the deer are out in the open, looking for a place to live.
-
the buck i saw was just south of the plant farm and north of suburben propane, west ide of freeway, alond a patch of woods. huge rack, long tines alot of mass, and i ould say 20+inches wide.been seein quite a few this last week along i5. another good one by alger too
-
If your headed north on I-5, between the Stilly river bridge and exit 210, there have been some nice deer feeding along there. :)
-
seen a few does and fawns there , a guy i work with lives right there and says theres a real nice 4 point hangin there
-
What? No photos? Ain't no proof until I see photos.
Ya'll are day dreamin down the freeway. No wonder there's so many wrecks!
Get your heads out of the hills, quit dreaming about the bucks you can't shoot, keep your eyes on the road and put that bloody cell phone down!

I was coming down Hwy 9 this morning into Arlington. Just as I crossed the bridge over the Stilly, I looked to the right down in that field that has the flat roof house in it, and there is what looks like is going to be a nice 4pt standing out there feeding.
-
could be the same 4point . not far across here from the freeway
-
I have not seen him for a week now, might be hiding :dunno:
-
Someone this morning plowed into a deer right around that area. My wife seen it and said there was blood all over the road with the deer laying on the side along with the F'd up truck that hit it. Hope it wasn't him :(
-
Ah man. Doe or Buck, I hate to see or hear bout that!
Damn!

-
Ive seen a few does in the field just south of suburban propane just last weekend, so Im hoping it wasnt the buck that died :(
-
She didn't see any horns but she was flyin by too. It was right before the 116th exit
-
she wouldnt have missed that rack hes a pig, gosh i hope he didnt get creamed
-
Same time, same place, but just north. Looked to be a smaller buck, maybe 2-3pt. He was in the middle of the river headed north. Sun was shining on him, picture perfect moment.... camera sitting at home. :bash:
-
Yea I know the one you are talking about he lives in the trees below my place .the old guy that own the property told us no way. So I figure if he travels out he is fair game.there our at least 4 bucks in this area with 3 point. Couple that are big.Just waiting for sharp stick season.
-
Well, that 2-3 point is no more. Got hit by a car last night about a 1/2 mile north of the bridge on the east side of Hwy 9. :'(
-
That SUX!
-
Just driving around last evening, I saw a total of 8 deer. That's more then I seen all of last year.
-
There are no deer up here, this whole thread is made up, just lawn ornaments and animatronic deer bought online... Only deer on the west side are in the vail tree farm, everyone should go there.. Move along people nothing to see here..
