Title: Buck?
Post by: huntingbg on July 09, 2009, 08:47:27 AM: Hey guys my trail cam took this picture of a deer on the same trail and near where I found a 4 point blacktail shed back in Feb. Is this a buck or a doe? I think its a buck due to the white throat patch? Any ideas.

I agree, I don't see the antler bases in any of the pics.

Post by: bow4elk on July 12, 2009, 10:11:36 PM: I vote doe. Do you have any other photos of the tarsal glands? That would tell you for sure because late winter they are still large, dark, and quite visible in photos.
