Title: My mountain goat - mounted
Post by: Alpinegus on July 12, 2009, 01:08:12 PM
I take pride in the fact I do my hunts, package my meat and mount my animals on my own. (with family and friends)

Below is a before and after picture of my goat. I know it's not pro quality, but I am quite pleased for how it turned out.  :)

I think it looks good. You should take pride in the fact that you do it all yourself, that's not any easy feat.

That is a great mount Alpinegus, it looks like those horns grew another 1/4 inch, I think it's time to have another measure-off with bucklucky. :chuckle:

I've seen pictures of Bucklucky's antler repair work.
He's probably added more points and has got his elk up to a 9 X 9 by now.   :chuckle:  :chuckle:

That is a great mount.  If I ever sell my soul to the devil and get drawn, I think I would do a pedastel mount too.  It shows the shoulders and the hump.
