Headed over to the Potholes this Wednesday though Sunday. Any fishing reports? Hoping to get into some Walley and Bass.

Great fisherie, Me and my familey ususally head over that way this time of year but couldnt get the time off. We usually just fish for bass and crappie but have caught numerous walleye fishing the dike at night with crank baits. There couldnt be a better topwater bite along the dam in the evenning though. Caught 6 pound smallies and largies on topwater. I love Mardon its one of the best fisheries around by far!

I havent fished potholes in a few years, but with this warm weather I'm sure the bite is on.

are you taking a boat or are you limited to the bank?
-
Boat, but when i was younger during mid day and the folks were just hanging out i would walk the dike for hours and catch fish also.
-
yea i was wondering if jj was taking a boat ive fished it both from a boat and from shore since i grew up 5 miles from there, and i know that plenty of fish can be had either way with a boat though hed just have more options
