Title: Ferry County Velvet Mulies
Post by: Timber on July 20, 2009, 08:14:42 PM: Finally put my new 400 2.8 lens to good use on Sunday. I can already tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with it.

Actually packing that thing around isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Right now I'm just using a monopod to hold the weight when I'm shooting. I just switch hands a lot if when carrying it when I'm into game, and if I've got a long hike into an area, I stow the camera still attached to the lens, in my Badlands 4500. It fits in there real nice.
