Title: Klickitat Steelies
Post by: rezboy on July 24, 2009, 09:16:22 AM: Has anyone been fishing the Klickitat River lately. Was thinking about heading down that way and was wondering what condition the river is in. Thanks

Post by: rezboy on July 28, 2009, 04:04:07 PM: Didn't hook any steelies, just a bunch of trout. Oh well, still a pretty nice day on the river. The river was actually in pretty decent shape for the weather conditions. Talked to a few other people down there and they weren't doing any good either. Oh well, it will pick up here in the coming weeks!

Scroll down to #14113000 Pitt, WA it's near the bottom of the page. When flows are perfect for fishing there will be a slight jump in the flow,(not a spike) followed by a gradual decrease in flow. Cold water off Mt.Adams is what we need right now. The water temp in the klickitat right now is warmer than I've ever felt it
