how big is this cat?
-
Nice cat! :mgun: I'd say 120 or so! :dunno:
-
Here kitty kitty :mgun2:

can't see much to really judge, but considering he is well behind the bucket and looking at how he compares to the base of the trees, I waould say it appears to be a pretty large cat. :twocents:

and how often can i expect to see him? will he be in the same area for awhile or what?
-
I would guess 140 or bigger. The one in my avatar is a little over a 100lbs and your pic seems like quite a bit bigger kitty. :twocents: Mark

Based off of information received on the whereabouts of your camera I would say he is probably the same cat I have pictures of. He is a big kitty I would guess 120-140 range. For reference here is a pic I got.

Is that cougar feeding on an unborn calf?
-
Dave's looks bigger that LTH's to me. It's further away than the bucket, but look 2 dimensionally compared to the bucket. That's a big cat. I'd say 140 is safely conservative.
Look at the elk's head and the cat's head in LTH's pic. Much smaller. Not a juvenile, but not as big.
-
I agree, looks like two different cats to me......the last cat on the elk kind of looks about 20 pounds lighter to me.
-
either way those kittys need to die. :mgun:

120 lbs

I'm having a hell of a time figuring how you guys are coming up with weights on that picture alone. To me, compared to that five gallon bucket, it appears to be a skinny cat less than 100 lbs. The cat feeding on the elk looks like a younger male in the around 110-120 lbs. :twocents:
