I'm sitting here at work and got a phone call that my friends buddy just shot a bear about 40 yards from my camera and stand. He said he shot and the bear fell. Then after about 20 seconds it got up and took off. They got some help and are still looking for it in some thick stuff. I will let you know if they find it.

Hate it when that happens, good luck on recovering it quickly espicially in this heat.

I think it is especially important to make sure it is down and out here on the west side, the brush can make the recovery very difficult.
