I have a question and would like to know what everyone think.
I have an archery elk and deer tag. The seasons are both in September. I will be camping and hunting elk in a 3 points minimum deer zone. The zone is next to an any deer zone. If I tag one deer (say a doe) from the any deer zone and take it to camp, will I be cited for this? I don't see any info in the regs. I've been thinking about this for couple years now and need to ask. Thanks.

Nope. I would expect to answer a few questions, and you might have to take an officer to the kill site and show them where the deer was tagged. Always a good idea to take a field photo of the animal before it is dressed, in case there is any doubt -not a requirement, just a good idea.

Doublelung That is some really great info. I had killed an animale in Alaska and had to
take the warden to the kill sight. It would have saved alot of time with photos and a gps reading.
