I just finished up this Turkey Rug for a client. Still have to put the backing on it, but thought I would share it with everyone. It will be going on a wall just like a bear rug. Take care and talk with you soon. John

Beautiful Job.

Turkey Rug? Never heard of them. Looks cool! Nice job. How much to have one done?
-
Neat idea. I have lots of bird pelts but never thought of that...
-
Very nice. I might have to try that.
-
Very cool. I think you should put a waterproof backer on it and use it for your toilet rug.
-
Thanks for the compliments guy's. Charlie, I charge right around $250.00 for a completed rug, depending if I have to repair any major damage etc. My clients like it because it gives them yet another option when they are considering space and money.
tlbradford, I don't know about the toilet rug bud ;) Now, maybe on the bathroom wall to drool over while your doing the deed, that's possible. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: Talk with you all soon. John

That is awesome. I wish I would have seen this before the youth opener. We are doing the traditional fan with my daughters tom but this would have been the ticket if I would have seen it. You will be getting a call next year. Is it best to bring the whole bird to you to skin, we just take the guts out?
-
hopefully I'll be giving you a call in a few days - wish my boy luck on his 1st turkey, if he gets a good one I'll call ya.
