Title: Photography Chat?
Post by: popeshawnpaul on August 06, 2009, 08:49:25 PM: I have done this in the past and had a lot of interest in it. We had a few fun chats. Would anyone be interested in having a photo chat time where you can ask any question about photography or equipment? Photoshop questions would work as well. If so I'll set a time on here in the evening next week. Maybe we can get Tom in there too to offer a second opinion on things. Let me know if there is interest. I would think a 7-10 PM time next week some time would work. I'll provide the refreshments. :)

However, I've never used the "chat" feature - hopefully I can figure it out.

Darn! I'd love to be in on this, but we have the annual family reunion with my wife's family - camping at Rainier from Thursday afternoon 'till Sunday. Sorry to have to miss out on this. Perhaps if it goes well we can do it again?!

At the end of the chat session one user must stay in the chat room. Then hit the save button. This will open a new browser window with all of the information of the chat session (I think). Use the browser "save as" and save it to the hard disk of your computer.

Here is the forum where you can get more help on the FlashChat program. I don't really know much about it.

It was a good chat with a wide range of topics from camera selection to software to exposure tricks. Maybe in another 6 months or so we can do another one if there is enough interest.
