This past spring while scouting for deer season, I found a bunch of garbauge left up in the woods, most of it metal, so I packed as much as I could out in my Badlands Hypervent, but the stuff had grease on it, so now i have grease in my pack, so anything I put in there comes out black, kinda annoying, any suggestions on how to clean it out?
Thanks in advance

Simple Green wil probably take it out.

If there's no waterproof coating on the inside, I'd turn it inside out and use a soft brush with a mixture of dishsoap and boraxo to wash it with. Air dry.

call badlands and ask them what they recommend for cleaning. whatever you do try a small inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't damage anything.
i would agree with the simple green idea.

dawn dish soap is great on oil....pretty mild stuff....

Calling Badlands is the best suggestion. I wouldn't use Simple green. I think it would leave too much smell.

:yeah: or see if Oxy Clean would work. That stuff is pretty powerful!

A good deed never goes unpunished ;)
Thanks for helping to clean up the woods. I hope your pack gets squared away.

Yup, dawn would probably be better!! It is a good degreaser ;)

dish soap has to much fragrance added to it, use simple green should work better.

good on you for hauling stuff out,I'm always amazed that people leave so much trash behind, a few bad apples can make us all look bad

I've had good luck with Gojo over the years. Even works on clothes in the wash. Get it at Napa

What did Badlands say?
