hell im just stoked period for my first year hunting archery. already hooked on 3d target shoots. takin a week off work for elk but have to drive to lynnwood for sisters wedding the first sat of elk season :bash: :bash:. she owes me haha

Same here! :'( Since I just moved out here and didn't get to practice enough or do enough map/gmu research or get out to glass enough I figured I would wait until Mod Firearm to go elk hunting. I couldn't in good consciousness take a chance at screwing up a shot! Next year... ALL ABOUT BOW SEASON!!! :drool: :drool:

FYI, you might find yourself waiting awhile to chase a bull with a bow if you hunt the eastside as the draw odds keep getting worse.

I found a way to curb the Elk camp anxiety.....I went and banged out a bunch of humpies this morning....It worked pretty good while I was in the river but when I started thinking about smoking them to take to camp I was right back where I started :drool:Oh how I love smoking salmon..........MMMMMMMMM......Good!!!
Even better to have it in hunting camp........way to go!!!! :tup:

Thanx...and you betcha on smoked fish at camp problem is I let my 8 year old daughter try it a couple years back and now she's mad I'm not leaving any home for her.... :rolleyes: Guess the wife's gonna have to lt me go fishing more the next couple weeks :rolleyes:
