Here is another bear that I took up in B.C. I can't remember if it was 2001 or 2002. It squared right at 6 foot. The finished rug was more blonde that the red that it looks like in the picture.
There is NOTHING like spring bear hunting in B.C. It is more like "shooting" than hunting. There are bears everywhere. They have only been out of hibernation for a few weeks and they are HUNGRY! They are out looking for food EVERYWHERE!!

Wow, nice looking bear with a great coat. The picture is deceiving, he doesn't look like a 6 footer. Doesn't mean I wouldn't take him though! Were you hunting over bait or spot and stalk?

Yeah Shane, he was right at six foot. LOL, you have to remember that I was pushin 380 lbs in that pic. Makes the bear look a bit smaller. :chuckle:
