I do not think that Idaho will meet it's quota , but this is new territory for many of us so would like to hear your thoughts ?
-
So the question is how many wolves will hunters kill this season?
-
yes , sorry, how many wolves will be tagged by hunters in Idaho's first wolf hunt??
-
i voted for 150 dont think the quota will be met

How many WILL be killed or how many will be reported. That is the real question. And how many will Idaho admit to being reported. Hopefully they will use some kind of fuzzy math that will show FAR less animals killed than what really happens. That would allow a better season in other states in the futur and in Idaho. :dunno: They should get the same WDFW people who do salmon run predictions to help them figure out their numbers. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I think they be lucky to fill half the quota whether people "report" it or not. I actually think most will report their kill just because it's a pretty damn nice trophy to have.

I believe Idaho F&G will admit to exactly the number of wolves that are reported :dunno:. They have no reason to not do so, and lots of reasons to not lie.

I know I wont be reporting any kills.
-
I voted for the 150 reports range.
i think idaho will report exactly how ever many reports they get from hunters, it's from the hunters that i question the number of reports the state gets.

I didn't vote yet, I am going to wait and see how many tags are sold in the next couple weeks. I don't think there have been enough tags sold to reach quota, but that could change with the recent news of hunter success.
