Was wondering if anyone did any yote hunting out there on sauk mountain? Is there a healthy population out there and are they call shy?

My brother-in-law and I did some calling around there and had ok luck. We took 4 in 2 1/2 days. If you can talk to people that have some live stock. Cows or horses are the ticket we were up there in April so there was a few calfs being born, I know that helped a little. One way to get them to show there faces is to set out a big carp where you want to hunt them, they will show up.

Watch out for hikers in black tee shirts bending down to tie their shoe.
