Can't wait it's almost here, In the past I've had elk all scouted out before the season then come opening day other hunters bump them . Doesn't this drive you crazy? so now I just cover my ground and spot and stalk . Has any one herd Any elk down low in the wenas starting up ? I here all this bugling talk and can hardly work.

Corey, heard a little bugling again at the house last night. Up scouting yesterday in 336, lots (i mean lots) of sign, now sightings though, mostly stuck to trail so didn't find any new rubs. Heading out next thursday night and maybe spend a night on the ridge at 5900' and listen to things. Thanks for the offer on the rest. Seemed to have tightened up my groups quite well. Trimmed some of the whiskers off. Switching to broadheads tomorrow. At work up the street at the Firehouse today. Talk to you later.

I hunted that last year with my grandfather during modern. We saw lots of elk Grandpa filled his cow tag. Was a lot of orange in the woods. It was the first time I've been on a rifle hunting trip I had a good time but I think I will stick to me archery gear.
