Title: just my luck... buck
Post by: runamuk on September 01, 2009, 04:12:07 PM: So today I see my first confirmed buck (I actually saw the antlers clearly) cute little crab claws and he's hanging with a sweet little doe and her fawn...such a nice family.... in my driveway :bash: :bash: :bash: apparently he heard the rumor that our orchard is a safe buffet ;) we had a bunch of does in our yard every evening from about now until near christmas the last 2 years, but never saw their boyfriends.

Well this gives me hope......I really need to see if my nice neighbor will let me have access through his property to a bit of state land that is sorta locked up by private properties.....then I wouldn't have to go out into the pumpkin patch during rifle season :P

On a down note it seems my nutso neighbor was shooting at 6 am.... I really worry that he is gonna shoot through my house one of these days.....the random firing of a pistol by a deranged drunk is an accident waiting to happen :bash: :bash:
