here's a few pics of my archery season so far...
I'll be brief and sum it up in a few words...
it was a great time, just me and my old man, packed 11 miles in, thunder, lightning, wind, sun, hot, cold,190" non-typical buck,170" typical, bulls, cliffs, rocks, bow problems, bow fixes, dad's first bow kill.
-
oh yeah, I almost forgot to say that I got to 15 yards from the 190" (which i didn't get good pics of) and messed it up :bash:
-
Great pictures!!! Tell your Dad congratulations for me! Nice job Jacob.

Great job sounds like an awesome trip! Is that a 2 point? I thought it was 3 point or better or antlerless??

Great photos and beautiful country. Congrats on the buck.

1st morning ordeal..... two great bucks and a good bull....
I have tags for both, I chose the big buck although the bull got into a spot that would have likely provided a great shot opportunity. :dunno:
-
Looks like a hell of a good time with pops! Congrats~
-
Looks like a real nice bull too! Good dilemma to have.
-
Fantastic! Some large critters you've found!
-
Good luck when you return for more action. Sounds like you are having a great time. Thats looks like a great buck in the pics.....
-
When your walking across that slope, in between rocks as big as you are, do you ever wonder how they got to the bottom and what they took out along the way? :chuckle: Great photo op of the buck and bull together.

I always wonder... especially the day after it rains, when you've been hearing rock slides all night long. there were a few tense moments on and under some cliffs on this hunt :yike: but when you're back home... they've all been worht it.
