Title: Barnes Spit-Fire TMZ
Post by: Lowedog on September 06, 2009, 05:17:26 PM: Bought some of the Barnes Spit-Fire TMZ 250gr Bullets to try in my Bighorn. Went out and shot today and accuracy was really good. I was just shooting off my bi-pod but at 50 yards I had about a 2-1/2" group. At 100 yds I was hitting inside the 6" circle on my target.

I was using 2 50gr eq APP Sticks.

I dug 3 bullets out of the dirt behind the target and they expanded perfectly and held together really well just as I expected from Barnes. I washed them off and weighed them and they were between 242-247 grains. Hopefully I can see how they perform on a big Muley in a few weeks!

The ones that came with them. I believe they are high pressure sabots. They are pretty snug but not too bad.
