-
Hey Rick :hello:
I was busy earlier I checked out the video and then had to run.....put it back up I was interested just didn't have time to post. I find it very helpful to hear what the calls can do and how they should sound.....I live with a bunch of "turkeys and ducks" :chuckle: ...they are no help to me learning to call bears and bobcats.
-
I missed it, put it back up please.
-
Didnt see it either Rick. Give us another listen,Mark
-
Krusty did not make the comment another person sais he was krusty. sorry did not know till now. Rick
-
I would like to see also, don't let some *censored* get you all bent out of shape, just because he's an ass don't let him ruin it for the rest of us.
-
Who the f,,k is Krusty?? Sounds like someone who needs to wipe their ass better. Mark
-
Rick he is obviously just being a jerk...so ignore him....some of us do appreciate your contributions.....and then there are those people who make themselves feel better by putting others down
-
You should not be put down by someone on youtube. you could post a video of a dog and a cat snuggleing and get comments like that, there are people out there that just have to try and put people down to make themselves feel better. Please repost it and ingnor the stupid people out there He is probly from some animal rights group anyways they patrol those sites looking to flame people.
-
Rick, you know that you have a huge group of people on here that stand by you. We buy your calls and ask your advice. Whoever this Krappy or Krusty isf,,k him and post it back up.Mark
-
Krusty was banned from this site a while ago and is just trying to cause problems, laugh at him and treat him like the case of gonorrhea that he is, take the shot and move on knowing the infection is gone. :chuckle:
-

:yeah: And Krusty is a maggot so don't even give him the satisfaction of thinking he got under your skin, no pun intended :chuckle:
-
Thanks Rick. Sounds good to me. Cant wait to get in the hills bawling this weekend. Mark
-
Thanks for re posting Rick, nice job! I was wondering how I was "supposed" to sound using your calls! :chuckle: Now I got to go call a bear in!
-
some guy's would like me to Do the RR1 next. i'll do it more complete. bird, elk pup distress and good old distress.. mark your call's are on there way. plenty of reed's and call's and i made a nice double Lanyard so myou have two call's when you have a blow out. Rick :)
-
Thanks Rick I am waiting by the mailbox ;) Mark

Wrong.....Krusty doesn't have a level, slime is slime and no more.
-
Keep them coming rick I learned more from you about calling while catfishing and at Rasbos than anything I have ever watched. If he calls and wants a call tell him where to put it Rick to do the most good.
-
Sounds great Rick. IT will help way more people than youknow, and no matter what you are going ot have detractors as soon as you have a little success. Keep the faith and don't worry about the chickensh** stuff.
-
I really enjoyed the video, it does help to know what they are supposed to sound like. Thanks for reposting!
-
Bearmaniac, I enjoyed your video, it helps to see the proper hand movement over the call for a beginner like me. Do you prefer the open reed or closed reed's?
-
i like closed reed's and openreed's close second i use both. i'm out of breath because i put emotion in my calling. put emotion in your calling like it is a hurt animal trying to get away. thank's every one. Rick :)
-
Thanks, the only call i was ever succesful with was a catnip made by primos. The downside to that call is if it gets a little chilly the reed would stick no matter what i did. I called in a few yotes, but mostly foxes and red tailed hawks.
-
Calling correctly wears you out. You have to put all your effort into the calling, THAT is exactly why I hang a watch out in front, because calling like that for 45 min to an hour is pretty hard work and after 20 minutes you think dang that has to have been an hour already!! Good job Rick, thanks for posting the video.
-
I appreciate seeing the calls in action. I have not hunted bear and wondered how it all sounded and worked. Thanks
-
I love to watch instructional videos like that. there is so much info that ne can gain from it.
if you have more or are makeing more send me some links, I like to obsorb informatin on things that interest me, and hunting is my obsession.
I have had no success on bears, but always learn all i can, to some day be successful.
I need to hok up and get my hands on sme of your custom calls.
-
Rick, I get so out of breath blowing those calls it aint funny. I thought I was going to pass out the other day calling for coyotes. Im glad Im not the only one that gets winded, and thats only aftewr about 30 seconds :chuckle:
-
that's were a openreed doe's better in the winter. they are less likely to freeze .i'm no expert just. i'm excited to do another in the morning i'll do a RR1 openreed. i'll go more into detail then. i'll make sound's that are killer for bobcat's. Rick
-
Cool....... I have been practicing and I am sure glad I quit smoking :chuckle: otherwise I'd be dead after about 5 minutes......and no one likes riding in the truck with me when I practice while driving :dunno: :chuckle:
-
Everyone don't worry about blowing the call with all out for the entire time with that much emotion. In between the bouts of really aggressive calling, you can use that fawn distress with a closed reed that does not take much air to blow. That will help you recover a little bit, but will keep a sound going to keep them interested.
