Anyone know where I can get fire information for alpine lakes wilderness. Fire information meaning, Can I have an open camp fire?
-
You do know above a certain elevation in wilderness areas you are not suppose to have fires anyhow right? But that never stopped people anyhow. I don't believe there is a campfire restriction in wash National forests at this time.

You can call the Cle Elum Ranger station. I called last week and they told me that burn ban was in effect for entire district EXCEPT Alpine Wilderness. There is also a restriction above 5000 ft. elevation. There is a recording at the number listed below, but I recommend waiting for all the options and talking to an actual person to answer your questions.
Here is website link ot all Okanagon-Wenatchee Forest ranger stations.

I was under the Impression that in a wilderness area you can have a fire regardless.
