Thought I would share my wifes recent bear story. We own a shaved ice business and my wife hits many of the areas big events during the summer. She was set up in Leavenworth at the Salmon Festival this weekend. At night she stayed at a friend of the family house on the Ice cicle river. All of our concentrates were in the back of our truck. Boy did she wake up to a suprise. She called me and said "I think raccoons got into the syrups, they crushed the tote bins and punctured the containers" The lady who owns the house came out and said "that aint no pile of coon crap, thats bear" Wife got home and I looked the truck over. Claw marks all over the place!!! He must have come right out of the river cause there is mud smeared all over the tailgate and fenders. You can see where his hair smeared mud as he pulled himself up into the the truck. There is a few good footprints too. I will get a few pictures in the daylight tomorrow.
I thought it was kinda cool that we had a live bear in the bed of our truck during bear season. :chuckle:
