I posted this in the varmit section because I had to go to work. Last saturday I had to put down my 10 year old Beagle Ben. It was the hardest decision that I ever had to make. I now have a new 6 week old pup named Bailey, she has a large collar to fill. I am now looking forward to spending a lot of time in the woods this year. If anyone lives in the Lacey area and has an experianced Beagle to run rabbits with can you give me a hand in training my new pup? You don't even have to live in the imidiate area, I am willing to drive an hour if not more to train Bailey.

Man, really sorry to hear about your dog...
Good luck with the new one.

Catch some rabbits, hold your dog back and let them go at the same time. After a few times of that. Start releasing the rabbit then bring her on the scent and just repeat over and over and over....
