Who still has there archery tag left? What late season gmu's are you planing on hunting.I had a pretty good early season, past up lots of little ones. For the late season i'm gonna give Gmu 101 a try and if that doesnt work out i'll hunt gmu 121 twords the end of the late hunt.Good luck during the late hunt guys. :archer:
-
I do. For late season I will hunt 124 for a change. :P
-
after an unsuccessful early season i still got mine. havent decided on which late gmu im going to hit up and am open to suggestions, haha!
-
I'm waiting for the late hunt as it is my favorite time to hunt. For some reason I think hunting in the snow feels more like I'm in tune with my surroundings. I went out for 2.5 weeks on the early hunt for deer and elk but nothing I wanted to shoot got in range.
-
still have mine, my nephew was killed and I missed most of the season for elk. went out on the last day and didn't see or hear anything. went out before going to my sister's and walked into a herd and was actually at full draw on a spike bull when the lead cow barked at me and took them out of range.
-
I don't even start hunting until late November. Still got tags.
-
I still have a cougar tag! :dunno: :chuckle:
-
I still have mine. Drew on a really nice 4 poing yesterday morning but he bolted right as I was getting my anchor point. Not sure where I'll be late season.
-
Still got mine... thinking i might actually try to hunt the san juans late season for a change.. got permission for private land so im gonna try it :dunno:
-
Still have mine. Gmu 410. Hunting private and public land on whidbey island. Passed on some smaller bucks. Had a nice 4x4 about 15 yards away but he saw me before I saw him. I'm going to meet back up with him in November...HOPEFULLY.
-
i haven't even started yet.
:dunno:
-
Beezley for deer in November!
-
Did not get out like I wanted in September. I'll be out for late hunts 121, 124, and 127 primarily depending on how much time off I can get.
-
I still got mine, I have gotten out a couple times but not as much as I would like. I like the late season better anyway.
-
I do the late archery...leaving to set up on Nov. 7th and hunt thru the 21st. Hoping for a bit of rut action.
-
Im still holding my WA multiseason deer tag..really havent even tried to fill it...passed on a 4pt BT twice (different days same stand)
No elk tag left...lost that one a few minutes into opening day :IBCOOL: ;)
Me and my wife filled our Oregon deer tags...still have OR gun tags... :IBCOOL:
I passed on a small bear on bear opening weekend and havent seen anything since :bash:

-
Still got mine, Love the late season hunts....
-
have mine :bash: :bash:
-
Still have one left for deer. I have a few places in mind within 2 or 3 hours of here.
-
I still have my deer tag (multi-season tag included) but filled my archery elk tag on a nice fat cow.
-
Filled my deer tag 4 days into the season.I got me a nice young forked horn.I probally would have passed him up if I wasn't going to hunt Montana in Nov.Two bear tags and a cougar tag left. :IBCOOL:
-
I haven't been out in WA, yet, so I still have my tags left: 2 deer, elk, bear, cougar, turkey. And unfortunately still have Idaho Panhandle A Elk tag left, too.
-
Still have all mine.
Late swakane (have multiseason deer)
-
All tags unfilled as of now(elk, deer, bear, cougar). I too really enjoy deer hunting later in the year, but elk in the rut is unbeatable(if you are holding a big bull permit).
-
Still have all mine.
Late swakane (have multiseason deer)
Good luck in that late Swakane.......not like it used to be, there are to many damn people crammed into the unit for my liking, wich happens to be in my back yard!! Hope for snow, as some of the guys wash out because they can't handle driving in that country without pooping their pants in fear of sliding off into god knows what, which is fine by me!!! :chuckle:

I've hunted there about 20 yrs. Yes it was way crouded the last few years. Hope loosing the "open for does" will improve the hunt. I have seen some monster bucks if it has snow up high. I LOVE hunting in snow. Biggest deer I have harvested is ony a 3X3, but I keep trying!
-
Still have an elk tag - deer is done.
I spent too much time trying to shoot a "true" spike...
-
i gave up early WA for MT so i hope to get it done late
-
I still have all of mine. After 12 days of hard elk hunting ,I still have a tag. I Called in a solid 5x6 for my dad to 30 yards but he didn't have a shot.We got video of it and a few other close call ins. Learned a lot more about elk this year and can't wait to get back out there. Saw lots of elk and passed on more than a few deer(didn't want to waste elk hunting to pack out a deer). This gives me an excuse to get back out in Nov anyways!
My buddy has the multi elk tag and I am going to try to get the newbie on some bulls(he is kind of a lazy hunter). It will be his first muzzy hunt. By the looks of the last day I spent hunting,I am saying that the rut should still be in full swing.
BTW,the question was asked about who See's cougars? My dad got to see one dart across the road at about 40 yards from him this year while on the mtn bike so they are out there!
-
I do, I was to buisy wiin the little Naches helping my buddies try to get an elk. Then in the late season my son has an entiat doe so hope that doesnt take him to long, so i can do some late archery hunting???
-
All tags here bear, cougar, elk muzzy and archery deer, will be late hunting 101 and 127
-
Still got my deer and elk. Had no luck in the Nile but did have 3 hunters walk past me without seeing me. Didn't have the right tag though. :chuckle:
I would love to get some suggestions on places to hunt late season otherwise I will be back in the Nile.
-
I still have mine, so if you see a nice one tie it up and call me.
-
I still have all my tags deer, elk, bear and cat. I hunt late season for my deer and hope something is going to happen with my Klickitat Meadows Spike or antlerless permit. I still have all my hopes too :)
-
I still have my deer, bear and cougar tag. I filled my archery elk tag in the first 10 minutes of the season with a nice cow! :IBCOOL:
I will be hunting 5 - 7 days in the late season to try and fill my deer tag with a nice buck!
-
Unfortunatly I still have my elk tag, Rimrock area had a lot of clearing/burning going on. My deer tag is Entiat-C buck only which is comong up soon:) Hope I don't have that tag too long.
-

I still got mine :'(. Going to try and get something out of either 460 or 407. I don't have any time to take off work so it will just be quick weekend hunts near the house
-
I still have both of mine. Would it be worth driving to the Northeast from Tacoma to hunt deer and elk? I'm thinking about the week after Thanksgiving.
-
I got back into the county 2 weeks ago and could only apply for the late archery season. I have no idea where to go but im looking at going over to the olympics somewheres.
-
I got both of mine. I'll hunt the 437 and 410. Might try to get out for westside elk if time permits.
-

Yep, I got a big fat goose egg early. Still have deer and elk tag. I will be hunting the 667 for both.
-
Watz Hunt-
It's not looking like I'll get out for elk other than maybe the damage hunt in Skagit. I used too much vaction early. Sorry for the delay in response- been on graveyards and not on computer much. I'm ready for the deer hunt in upper Skagit.
-

Still have my elk EA tag
-
I still do, haven't seen a 160 plus whitetail yet within 60 yards or during the daylight. I saw a 170 about a week ago but it was at 6:05 pm, not even close to light out, sad part was he was less than 30 yards away :bash: Give it time I will shoot something good. 5x minimum, I have confidence. :chuckle:
-
I still have mine. Drew a late season archery deer permit this year for GMU 578 (1 of 100). Season opens Nov. 20 and runs through Nov. 30, 3pt. min. I have talked to some land owners and they are seeing some legal bucks with swollen necks. The anticipation is killing me! :bash:
-
Still have both a deer and elk tags, looks like Bowkid and I should have Winston all to ourselves :chuckle:. Probably spend some time in Ryderwood and Willapa hills as well. Good luck to all :brew:
