Title: new pheasant hunter
Post by: chrisb on September 27, 2009, 03:32:13 PM: My dad and I are going to be hunting pheasant for the first time this year. The areas i'm looking at hunting are non toxic shot areas. I am used to shooting #7 in lead when i shoot clays, but what does this translate to in non toxic shot like steel? Should i still shoot #7 or something bigger due to change in ballistic performance? Any help you guys can provide is appreciated.
