Those bulls have been out of velvet since mid August. I think someone is pulling your leg. Nice pics though.
-
I thought the exact same thing, but I got a few pictures texts of them and then these from the digital camera. they are from this morning, no kidding.
-
Those hanford bulls must be screwed up. They should have lost there velvet by now. :chuckle:
-
No offense but there is no way that was yesterday, I can see maybe a spike or a screwed up Rag horn whos nuts aint dropped, but its natures course and those bulls havent received that much radiation :chuckle:
-
He's pulling your leg. Cool bulls, but that was like August. Look at the heat index on them. ANyway, nice velvt. I wonder how he got th epics. You aren't even allowed cell phone pics out there.

It was under 50 degrees yesterday. As mentioned before, look at the heat rays. There is no way that was from yesterday.

Guy I know shot a bull off the Roberts ranch about 3 weeks ago, there were 15 big bulls in one herd, not one of them had any velvet left, I've seen bucks and bulls out there carry their velvet longer and shed later but that's getting a little ridiculous.
-
Did Roberts get hit withthe fire at all.
-
They have summer coats too. Of course, if they are sleeping by a nice warm radiation leak... that may expain things. I'll turn off the lights and look at the picture again.. :chuckle:
-
There gunna rut in Nov. and drop calves in Aug. ;)

Thats a summer coat on the elk in the picture, someone is pulling your leg!

How big was that bull? I heard of a giant that was shot out there.

The bull was 330-340, not the 400+ everyone is talking about I have no idea if that is true or not

I didn't get to go on the hunt so I don't know if they had a fire on their place or not, in the video of the hunt I saw I didn't notice any burned areas.
