Just wondering....You have a month dedicated to bowhunting/archery....why not one for rifle/muzzy? Not bitching..just wondering? (although I am a rifle hunter :chuckle:)

I'm having a hard time choosing pictures. Here are my two pictures for now (who knows, I might change one of them before the month is done):
I originally had a mountain goat picture from Glacier National Park, (http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,34123.0.html (http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,34123.0.html)) but considering this is a WA photo contest I figured I'd change it to a WA picture. I haven't posted pics from this trip but this is from camp last weekend on my bear hunting/mountain goat scouting trip. I wanted to scout out the mountain goats in the new Lake Ann unit in Mt. Baker.

I haven't done alot of picture taking above the water, other than of my kids, but since the topic is open this month here are a couple of my fav's from this summer. First one is a shot of an Opalescent Nudibranch with a Kelp Greenling in the background. Taken at Gull Rock in the San Juans. The second is a Mossheaded Warbonnet taken at Salt Creek just West of Port Angeles.

Hiking Mt. St Helens, in September.
-
OK, so I'm not a photographer at all, and this pic was snapped with a digi camera that's probably 5 years old. But, these guys were up on a ridge just after sunrise when we hiked Mt. St. Helens. They watched us for over an hour. We were sucking wind clambering over boulders and stuff while they just sat there watching. I wish I'd brought my binos on this one.
-
my cousin took this photo while fishing in the ocean out from the mouth of the columbia river, I thought it was awesom and wanted to post for photo of the month
-
Here is my entry:)

Looks like they must hang out there often. Is it legal to hunt on the mountain?

This is my favorite photo that I have taken this year. My son and I were hiking up to the Puyallup Ridge fire lookout while grouse hunting and I loved the way the nobles framed the mountain.
