Title: I didnt know it was loaded !..Kinda graphic
Post by: passing-thru on October 05, 2009, 09:43:41 AM: Found these pics on-line and thought would share with you'll..Shows that you can never be to careful..From story with pics it appears that the shooter didn't know anther hunter was in area and thought he was a deer..Just another reminder of..BE SURE OF TARGET..

The actual story is...
Two guys were hunting together, they spotted a deer and the guy in front ducked down so the other archer could shoot over him.. sight window was clear, but arrow path was not. he was shot point blank.

Or so I am told

Post by: GreenHunter on October 07, 2009, 01:15:16 PM: Those are some amazing photos. I find it hard to believe that the broadhead wouldn't have gone completely through at point blank range. Either way that guy is really lucky and they both are not too bright.

thats F'ed up man... The guy got shot in the head with a broad head... :bdid: :yike: but the funny thing is that i thought it was a thunderhead too.... :chuckle: :chuckle:

The arrow was still on the string when it hit the guy. If it was unloaded at full speed, it would have come out in his face depending om the poundage of the bow.. BTW, I put a thunder head clean through an elks skull at 60 yds.
