Just saw this...What a buck....Unreal. :yike:

That is one of the bucks I was talking about in Idaho results thread. We got a 215" buck cornered down there...my season doesn't start until the 15th. These pics don't help. Dallas' brother killed the big NT that Idaho F&G pimps out their Super Tags with. Dallas has had 3 tags in 3 years - can you say landowner tag "hook up"? Not hating......oh, wait, I am! :chuckle:
-
Sorry JJ..I'm pulling for ya..
-
BTW, local contact predicting best year ever in 45. Exceptional horn growth - 228" to 265" in one year! I would say so.
-
Thats a freakin toad. Make us proud jj, bring back a monster.
-
The brothers are usually tight-lipped. You usually see stories in a mag first. Hard to keep the lid on a toad like this. So much for ever drawing this tag again...... :chuckle: Bad now, be worse after this year.
-
No Kidding JJ...10 more days man..
-
WOW! It is something to look at. I could not imagine seeing a buck like that let alone shooting at it and hitting it. Good for him. They always say lucky is better then good, and it is not what you know but who. Certainly this guy has an in, in both areas.
-
:yike: WOW
-
Unbelievable!! Good luck JJ.
-
Wow, that thing is huge! SouthEast Idaho, I presume? :dunno:
-
No, that is a Unit 45 buck. South of Mountain Home.
-
unbelievable buck.
-
WOW! what a great buck
-
So Jjhunter you drew one of the 50 Rifle and that Dallas guy drew one of the 20 muzzy permits for Unit 45?
-
I drew my tag.....pretty sure Dallas aquired his from a landowner. Unless, he has unbelievable luck? He killed three bucks over 200" in the last fours years I believe. At least two with a Muzzy. I think I first applied in 1999 so it took awhile! It wasn't a first year thing.
-
he would have to be doing landowner or outfitter allocated tags since there is a 2 year wait after drawing a tag to apply again, you still gonna call me up when your down here man?
-
I can promise that you will be the first from the site to see my buck! The least I can do is meet up with you on my way home. I have an a three man crew excluding me right now, so that is probably enough since I usually prefer to hunt alone. One guy is a local who knows the unit as well as anyone. Depending how long I hold out, and how long they can stand me passing up bucks..... :chuckle: I will definitely keep you in mind. I will be down from the 21st to the 31st or however long it takes. If you see a random 509 number, answer. I either need help or killed a hog! I really appreciate the offer. This is a great site....I got a lot of help on my wyoming hunt and it has been the same with 45. Looking forward to sharing a "once in a lifetime" hunt with you guys.
-
JJ Good Luck. Hope you get what you are after...
-
Just saw two more bucks over 190" killed on the early hunt. A lot of big deer killed in the first 5 days!
-
good deal man if you call me ill be down
-
:yike: Thats a hog of a buck! Good luck on your hunt jjhunter
-

I wish..... :chuckle: But I think the 'yota would be doing a wheelie all the way down :chuckle: I got enough help to pack three deer out in one trip.
-
I hope you can't fit in the yota! :)
-
OK I might be wrong in some of your eyes but that buck would be so much better looking if he could have killed it after the velvet fell off!!!! :o

That thing was a toad. Nice buck.
